Sunflowers and Poppies

My sister Amy has commissioned me several times and her latest request was for a couple of small paintings for her son and DIL's new kitchen. Their colors are gold and green with a black granite countertop. She loves sunflowers, so Amy wanted me to go with that. She also said Kellie will be using pops of red in the kitchen, so this is what I came up with.

PS: And if I figure out how to work this page correctly, I'll get the captions under the pictures!

I painted this scene in acrylics, on a 16 x 20 gallery canvas. I submitted it to Lt. Governor Becky Skillman's Indiana Women in Art contest. If it's one that is chosen it will hang in her office for a year. Wish me luck!
